Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a separate copy of those searches on our servers. When you send us a message, we receive the details you chose to provide and use them to answer.
Information Logged Automatically
Normal web-server logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregated logs help maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar tools where they apply.
How the Data Is Used
These limited records support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Ventura and California agencies, court portals, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's policy. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third party and operate under that provider's terms.
Who Processes Visitor Data
Hosting and support vendors may process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because the service has no user accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted personal data so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, sale or sharing opt-out, and sensitive-information rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Use the Contact page for data held in our contact mailbox or server logs. Public records controlled by Ventura, Ventura County, or California agencies remain outside our control and must be addressed with the custodian. Registered data brokers follow separate state rules under the Delete Act; California's official DROP platform provides a central deletion and opt-out route for participating data brokers.
Policy Revisions
A revised policy will appear here when changes are made. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
